U.K University Entry?

Is it possible to get into university with gcse English and Maths both at 'D' . Since school I have a level 2 diploma in travel and tourism and key skills. And currently almost finished on my first year of a level 3 course on a Distinction level overall at college. I also gained level 2 a.l.a.n tests which was equivalent to a gcse of a 'B'. Will these be sufficient for entry requirements , also I will be re-doing my English gcse next year but not maths. Thanks
