Are we humans looking at the earth or are we the earth looking at the earth?

If you know the origin of species and follow Darwin's theory of evolution wouldn't it be safe to say we're the earths evolution. We are the earth. Everthings the earth. If you look at the ocean essencially you are looking at yourself. And if you follow evolution far enough it's safe to say we're not only the earth but in interaction with the universe as the universe. We are all the same.
